Trevor Paglen is an artist, geographer, and writer whose practice investigates mass surveillance, data collection, and the hidden infrastructures of contemporary power.
Working across photography, sculpture, investigative journalism, and experimental science, Paglen's work attempts to make visible systems and spaces that shape modern life but remain largely unseen — from classified military bases to the undersea cables that carry the internet.
His work has been exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Tate Modern, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and the Walker Art Center, among other institutions worldwide.
